Ribbon-cutting at Little Learners Spectrum Center
The Little Learners Academy is bringing their Reggio Emilia/Montessori approach and fully inclusive learning center to the Farmington area. Help us celebrate the opening of this unique, high-quality children's learning center!
The Little Learners Academy program in Fredericktown was awarded the Best of the Parkland, the Missouri Preschool Program, and was accredited by Missouri Accreditation. The Farmington location is the first private program with a special needs program within it for children with developmental delays. They are the first true inclusion program in our community that will offer ABA therapy and will soon be offering many in-house therapies as well as accepting private insurance and Medicaid. Owner, Ashley Smith says, "Our goal is to prepare all children to enter kindergarten with the most success! We are more than a “daycare”. We are an early childhood program that specializes in milestone assessments. We will assess children quarterly to meet developmental milestones to ensure your child is on track. We teach Project Construct Curriculum inspired by Reggio Emilia. We follow Conscious Discipline Strategies and teach on Love and Logic. Our staff all have child development credentials, are registers behavior technicians, or have a degree in early childhood education. We have amazingly trained and certified staff, creating the best program possible."
