100 Years at Long Memorial Hall: A Roaring 20's Celebration
Join us for a Roaring 20’s Celebration in honor of the 100th Anniversary of Long Memorial Hall. With live music by the Arcadia Dance Orchestra, a 1920’s style jazz band.
The Arcadia Dance Orchestra was established by multi-instrumentalist and vocalist TJ Mueller. Muller has toured worldwide, performing classic styles of American music, and making tv and radio appearances including, The Late Show with David Letterman, The Grand Ole Opry, A Prairie Home Companion, and PBS Documentary: American Epic. Most recently, in 2023, he appeared alongside a group of fellow musicians in Martin Scorsese’s film adaptation of Killers of the Flower Moon. After settling in St. Louis full time, Mueller turned his focus to historic St. Louis jazz, ragtime, and blues, performing and speaking around St. Louis and hosting a weekly jazz and ragtime radio show on Classic 107.3FM. T.J. Muller is known for his charismatic approach to early jazz, energetic performances, and passion for sharing the stories and history behind the music.
Dance the night away in historic Long Memorial Hall, enjoy appetizers, and a cash bar (cash only, no credit cards).
1920’s attire encouraged.
