The Valley, located at 800 Valley Creek Drive, is owned by Dan Freund who operated the Medicap Pharmacy in town for 24 years. After decades of dispensing various medications, he is now opperating a medical marijuana dispensary to provide pain relief for a number of chronic maladies. The State of Missouri voted to legalize medical marijuana and provide dispensaries throughout the state in 2018. Medical marijuana dispensaries generally provide a safe and health-focused environment in which patients can obtain legal, medical-grade marijuana. Each dispensary operates under very strict safety guidelines and many people with chronic pain, seizures, cancer, and other health issues are finding relief.
