About Us
Jefferson Franklin Community Action Corporation’s (JFCAC) Small Business Resource Center (SBRC) has been awarded a $1M Grant from SBA’s Community Navigator Pilot Program.
The Small Business Administration’s Community Navigator Pilot Program grant is part of the American Rescue Plan. This initiative will reduce barriers and provide high-quality technical assistance to entrepreneurs and small businesses who are underrepresented and underserved. JFCAC will use the grant funds to help entrepreneurs and small businesses in Jefferson County and Franklin County, St. Francois County, Washington County, and Ste. Genevieve County, Missouri. This access assists them with programs they need to recover, grow, or start their businesses.
A network of local partners and the SBRC will work with businesses and entrepreneurs in Jefferson County and Franklin County, Missouri. This network will leverage the business development expertise of the SBRC and the community credibility of these local organizations to better connect area business owners with critical services and assistance programs.
JFCAC was one of 51 grant winners out of 700 organizations that made submissions. JFCAC is honored to be an inaugural recipient of this historic funding.
