**Our Story**

Ritter Real Estate was founded in 2014 by Jared Ritter’s mother, with Jared and his sister as the initial team members. Jared began his real estate career in 2013 while still working full-time as a teacher. Recognizing the potential for growth, Jared became a full-time Broker in 2016. As the company gained recognition for its family-oriented, customer-centric approach, it began to grow, adding employees and agents who shared the same values.

Jared took over the brokerage in 2018, seizing the opportunity to expand. In 2019, the brokerage experienced significant growth, increasing its agent count from 12 to 22 and its production from $30.6 million in 2019 to $86.6 million in 2021.

In response to this rapid growth, Ritter Real Estate moved from a 300-square-foot office to a 2000-square-foot office in the heart of the city at the corner of Broadway and Main Street. The company has since expanded to a second location in Jackson, MO, continuing its trajectory of growth and success.
