City of Farmington to Close Portion of Columbia St. for Tree Removal

City of Farmington to Close a Portion of Columbia Street for Tree Removal Farmington, Missouri (December 3, 2024) – The City of Farmington plans to close a portion of West Columbia Street on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 9:00AM to remove a dead tree.

There will be detour signs in the area to provide alternate routes during the project. The road is expected to re-open at approximately 3:00PM the same day. Work will continue along the roadside on December 11th and 12th. Columbia Street will be open during this time, but flaggers may be present for traffic safety. Drivers are encouraged to be extra precautious and watch for workers in the area until the work is completed.
