            Student Success Administrative Assistant
Position Summary
Provide highly confidential administrative assistance to Student Services, manage the day-to-day activities of the office. Coordinate projects and procedures with other offices, make routine work decisions independently. This position includes considerable public contact, and performs a variety of duties requiring perceptive judgment and discretion.
Key Performance Indicators
- Provide accurate and timely information to student and community requests for information
- Maintain timely and accurate records
- Process student services data quickly and efficiently
Essential Functions
- Manage the daily operations of Concurrent Enrollment, Career Services and Access Office.
- Greet students, answer phones, schedule appointments and take messages as needed.
- Order office materials and supplies.
- Maintain office files and records.
- Schedule, monitor, and proctor extended time tests for students, deliver tests to instructors for Access.
- Assist with Dual Credit applications and send rosters to instructors and counselors.
- Create scholarship spreadsheets.
- Scan Articulated Credit transcripts from Career Centers.
- Collect new Dual Credit instructor information.
- Assist with workshop planning with Dual Credit instructors on PD day.
- Provide work study information to students and staff.
- Provide assistance to students and visitors when they have questions or need to be directed to an office or on-campus function.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Dean of Student, Career Services Director, Concurrent Enrollment Coordinator, and Access Director.

Ability to write business letters, summaries, and reports, using prescribed format and conforming to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction, and style.
Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people, including the general public.
Ability to organize and express instructions in a logical sequence to describe how something works or explain how to perform a task.
Experience
Education:
Associate's degree in office skills, office management, or closely related field.
Work Experience:
Three years full-time highly skilled directly related work experience.
Industry Knowledge:
Broad background involving experience in an educational institution, general office
experience, and familiarity with the local community.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
Working in a professional office environment this position requires sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, walking, pushing, pulling, light lifting, grasping, talking, seeing, hearing and repetitive motion.
Position involves flexible working hours and may require overtime, evening, and/or weekend work.
Position involves public contact and requires appropriate business attire.
