The proclamation recognizes the important work water and wastewater 

professionals make throughout the State of Missouri. From protecting public 

health and improving water quality, to safeguarding environmental health, 

water and wastewater professionals are a vital part of our state and 

community.

This week the City of Farmington would like to recognize each of our water 

and wastewater professionals, including our wastewater treatment plant

operators, water and sewer department crew members, and the many staff

members who ensure safe delivery and treatment of more than 700,000,000 

gallons of water annually to over 8000 households and businesses.
