Farmington Regional Chamber Executive Director Appointed to MAKO Board of Directors

Farmington, MO — The Farmington Regional Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Executive Director and CEO, Candy Hente, has been appointed to serve on the MAKO Board of Directors.

MAKO is a collaborative, multi-state conference designed for professionals serving in the chamber of commerce industry. The organization brings together chamber leaders from Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, and Oklahoma, with board leadership comprised of four representatives from each participating state.

As a member of the MAKO Board of Directors, Hente will help guide the strategic planning and execution of MAKO’s annual professional development conference, which is held each April in Branson, Missouri. The conference focuses on education, collaboration, and best practices for chamber professionals across the region.

“Candy’s appointment to the MAKO Board of Directors is a testament to her leadership and commitment to advancing the chamber profession,” said Paul Meinsen, Chair of the Farmington Regional Chamber Board of Directors. “Her involvement at the regional level strengthens our Chamber and ensures Farmington has a voice in important conversations impacting chambers and business communities across multiple states.”

“This appointment is a tremendous opportunity to collaborate with chamber leaders from across the Midwest and bring valuable insight back to our local business community,” said Hente. “MAKO plays an important role in strengthening chambers and, ultimately, the communities they serve.”

The Farmington Regional Chamber congratulates Hente on this appointment and looks forward to the continued leadership and professional development opportunities this role brings to the Chamber and the region.
