Subject: Sexual assault (Rape) allegation

Date: April 29, 2026

On March 30, 2026, I received information from the St. Francois County Sheriff's Department

regarding a complaint filed against a Farmington Police Officer alleging a sexual assault reported

to have occurred in June 2016.

Based on this information, a decision was made to place the accused Officer on paid

Administrative Leave effective immediately, pending the outcome of the investigation. This

action is administrative in nature and does not constitute a disciplinary determination at this time.

The Officer will remain on Administrative Leave until the investigation has been completed. The

Officer was not a paid employee with the City of Farmington at the time of the alleged incident

(June 2016).
