Incident Summary

December 10, 2025

In the early morning hours, officers responded to a series of vehicle break-ins in a residential neighborhood on the southwest side of Farmington. Multiple vehicles were entered, and several items of personal property were stolen, including firearms.

Officers immediately began gathering evidence, and with assistance from residential Ring cameras and community CCTV systems, they were able to obtain descriptions of the suspects and their vehicle. A “stop and hold” was issued to surrounding agencies.

With assistance from the St. Francois County Sheriff’s Department, the suspect vehicle was located and stopped on southbound U.S. 67 near Karsch Boulevard. Three individuals were taken into custody as persons of interest and transported for questioning.
